Lindt Excellence Sea Salt Caramel Financier

  • 75g Butter
  • 100g Lindt Excellence Sea Salt Caramel
  • 110g Brown sugar
  • 50g Plain flour
  • 50g Almond meal
  • 4each Egg white
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 60g Lindt Excellence Sea Salt Caramel, chopped
  • Serves: 8

Preheat the oven to 200°C

  • 1. Gently melt together the butter and the first amount of chocolate. Set aside to cool..
  • 2. Place the dry ingredients into a bowl.
  • 3. Whisk the egg whites to soft peaks with the salt.
  • 4. Mix the cooled chocolate and fold in the egg whites in stages.
  • 5. Last mix in half of the chopped chocolate, divide mixture into moulds and top with rest of the chocolate.
  • 6. Bake for approx. 15 minutes
